Rays fans expecting a child around Opening Day may be upset that they could miss the 2014 home opener could also have four extra reasons each year to celebrate.

The Rays have announced that they have partnered with Bayfront Health for a new program launching Opening Day called "Rays Fan for Life."

According to a release by the team, any baby born at Bayfront Baby Pace in St. Petersburg on March 31 -- Opening Day for the 2014 season -- will receive a certificate granting them four tickets to all future Rays home openers.  The babies will also receive a gift package which will be delivered by Rays players as well as mascot Raymond, and the children and their parents will be inducted into the Rays Fan for Life club later in the season.

"We are excited to enter into this agreement with a network as regionally focused as Bayfront Health," Rays Senior Vice President Mark Fernandez said.  "The Rays Fan for Life program specifically will help future generations and their families feel a part of the Rays community."
