ST. PETERSBURG (620 WDAE) -- The Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox saw their roles reversed Saturday from what happened Friday night.

Jake Odorizzi and a pair of relievers combined on a one-hitter, while Ben Zobrist led the way offensively with a pair of RBIs as the Tampa Bay Rays whitewashed the Boston Red Sox 7-0.

Tampa Bay got to Webster in the second, when after Evan Longoria was hit by a pitch, James Loney brought him in with a double to right.  Brandon Guyer then singled Loney to third, and after a walk to Logan Forsythe, Ryan Hanigan brought in Loney with a sacrifice fly to make it 2-0, and Ben Zobrist's groundout two batters later made it 3-0.

Zobrist would bring in the fourth run two innings later, again on a groundout, this time scoring Forsythe, who singled, moved to second on a base hit by Hanigan, and took third when Kiermaier was hit by a Webster pitch.

The Boston right-hander's night would end two batters into the fifth, as Matt Joyce drew a walk, and Longoria reached on an infield single.  John Farrell went to Alex Wilson. who struck out Loney, but Brandon Guyer would bunt his way aboard, and when David Ross threw the ball down in to the Tampa Bay bullpen, both Joyce and Longoria would score on the three-base error.

A sacrifice fly by Forsythe brought in Guyer to make it 7-0.

Odorizzi (10-11) went the first seven innings, allowing just a single hit along with three walks.  Jeff Beliveau worked a scoreless eighth, while Kirby Yates put up a zero in the ninth to cap the shutout.

Sunday's matchup will see Alex Cobb (9-6, 3/06 ERA) take on Clay Buchholz (5-8 5.77 ERA).  First pitch is scheduled for 1:40, with pregame coverage on WDAE starting at noon with This Week In Rays Baseball.
