The Rays will play two today and the team will have a good feeling heading into the second of two games against the Orioles after a 5-2 victory.

In what seems to be an everyday occurrence the Rays found themselves in an early whole after Chris Davis drove in Nick Markakis to give Baltimore a 1-0 lead. Tampa Bay though did not waste any time taken the lead back for good.

A pair of doubles in the second inning by Brandon Guyer and Matt Joyce gave the Rays a 2-1 lead. Tampa Bay added on in the fourth thanks to an RBI single by Jose Molina that scored Joyce.

Matt Joyce and Brandon Guyer were the catalysts today as they combined for five doubles and four runs batted in as the Rays would win by a final score of 5-2.

The teams will clean up and come back out for game two of the doubleheader later tonight. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 with Jake Odorizzi toeing the rubber for the Rays. Pregame begins at 6:30PM on 620 WDAE and 95.3 FM.
