In advance of their key Monday Night game the Tampa Bay Storm shuffled their roster, adding three new players including former USF Bull and Boca Ciega Pirate Julius Forte.
Tampa Bay also swapped backup quarterbacks, releasing Stephen Garcia and activating Chris Dixon, who played 12 games between Orlando and New Orleans last year and is a five-time champion in the lower-division IFL.
Additionally the Storm signed defensive back Randall Burden, a University of Kentucky product.
Released were DB De'Audra Dix and DL Quincy Barr.
The Storm visit Spokane in a game that will air on WDAE Monday night at 8. If Philadelphia loses Sunday to San Jose, the Storm would be able to clinch a playoff spot with a victory.
Otherwise the final week of the regular season, when Tampa Bay hosts Cleveland, will go to decide the final playoff spot.
