Lightning GM Steve Yzerman joined Big Dog up in Philly, the site of the 2014 NHL Draft. The team has eight picks in tomorrow nights draft, and there is a lot of speculation as to what the team will do with those picks.

Yzerman also talked about the team re-signing Ryan Callahan to a six-year deal. The Lightning general manager feels that Ryan believes in what the team is doing and the bright future ahead, and that is why he was eager to stay in Tampa Bay.

In terms of the draft, Yzerman feels the draft is not nearly as deep as previous ones saying it is not, "as high-profile of a draft as the one last year." Steve did add that most likely this is a draft where answers on how players turn out may not been known for several years.
