New York Yankees pitcher Michael Pineda was ejected from the game Wednesday night against the Boston Red Sox after umpires found with a foreign substance on the right side of his neck.

Pineda's ejection comes just two weeks after he had what looked like pine tar on his right hand during a 4-1 win over Boston at Yankee Stadium

With a 1-2 count on Grady Sizemore, Boston manager John Farrell called time to talk with plate umpire Gerry Davis, who went to the mound. Davis touched the right side of the pitcher's neck and then ejected Pineda.
